So yeasterday saw the team out for the Border Ecosse Car Club Grant Construction Knockhill Stages. With an entry of just under 50 the guys managed a very respectable 17 O/A and 3rd in Class 2. Joe remarks “The car felt great all day in the tricky conditions”.
The car ran faultlessly all day requiring nothing more than tyres, fuel and a good clean.
Thanks as always goes to the support team Ross Ryan and Rhys.

Well done team!

A short clip of the guys on the stage today. Working our way through setup testing and giving the car a good shakedown. We lost a lot of time in Stage 1 due to dust from following cars but that’s the same for everyone then setting competitive times on stage 2 & 3……..

Saturday saw the return of the team to Crail. A good time away for Joe and a slightly longer lay off for Thomas. In that time the car has had some modifications and upgrades and been away to Angus Lowrie Motorsport for some fantastic fabrication work.
So Saturday was really a test day and seat time for the guys to get back into the groove. Stage 1 was as expected. Terrible! You could tell it had been a long time away. Stage 2 was getting better until we suffered a puncture and had to stop and change it mid stage. Stage 3 was a good run but Joe was struggling for confidence on the brakes. Stage 4, the rain had come so we set the car up soft as instructed and adjusted the brake bias. What a transformation the car immediately felt better and confidence was growing. Stage 5 was great right up to the last corner when a small overshoot cost is some time. All in all a good day back at it. The team would like to thank all the supporters over the last few years for the parts and craftsmanship that has gone into the car. The car will now go into the winter break ready to have its new decals fitted ready for 2022!

Thank you to Ross, Ryan Rhys and Bert for the hard work put in over the last few months and for the great service over the weekend. Great to be back.

First rally it 2 years for Joe and 3 for Thomas. They have just came in from a successful first stage. Great to be back ...

Congratulations to Joe and Brian for completing the Kingdom Stages at Crail 19th O/A 6th in Class. Conditions were extremely tricky catching even the best of them out! A big thank you to Bert, Thomas, Craig and Rhys for servicing, the car wanted for nothing all day not even a change of tyres. Thank you to Aileen for keeping everyone fed and watered and Finally to Brian for keeping Joe on the straight and very narrow clean line. Decisions will be made on the next event but for now thanks for the support this year we look forward to 2020!

Thanks
