❤️ Cound CC Chairman’s Day – Supporting the British Heart Foundation ❤️

Join us on Sunday 30th August for a fantastic day of cricket, fundraising and community as we come together to support the British Heart Foundation.

🏏 On the day:
• 8-a-side knockout tournament
• Ladies softball match
• Juniors match

🎉 Plus:
• Bar & BBQ running all day
• BHF charity raffle
• Bat raffle
• CPR demonstration from the British Heart Foundation

A couple of weeks on, we’re looking back at a brilliant day at Cound CC for our Junior Softball Festival on 9th August! 💙❤️

A huge thank you to all the teams who came along and helped make it such a fantastic day. Plenty of cricket, smiles, food, fun and some great competition along the way! 🏏

We took around £1,200 on the day, which is a fantastic result for the club! 🙌

Thank you to everyone who played, volunteered, helped out, supported us and got involved. We couldn’t have done it without you! 💙❤️

We’re already looking forward to the next one! 🏏

A weekend of mixed results for Cound CC 💙❤️

The 1st XI battled hard to secure a draw against Oswestry, while the 2nd XI put in a fantastic performance to claim a convincing 9-wicket victory away from home. 👏

The 3rd XI unfortunately came up short against Oswestry, falling to a 104-run defeat.

Another weekend of cricket is here, with all three senior sides in action! 💙❤️

The 1st XI welcome Oswestry to Cound, while the 2nd XI travel to Bomere. On Sunday, the 3rd XI round off the weekend at home against Oswestry. 👏

A weekend of mixed fortunes for Cound CC, with two convincing wins and a defeat for the 2nd XI. 💙❤️

The 1st XI put in a strong performance to secure a 52-run victory, while the 2nd XI came up short against Iscoyd & Fenn’s Bank, losing by 10 wickets.

The 3rd XI rounded off the weekend in style, producing a fantastic display to claim a 9-wicket victory against Madeley. 👏

A couple of huge milestones reached for Cound CC! 👏

🔵 Jack Case reached 7,000 runs for Cound CC - a fantastic achievement!
🔴 Connor Glendinning brought up 10,000 Shropshire County Cricket League runs - another incredible milestone! 👏

Yesterday, our annual trip to Edgbaston was back! 💙❤️

Juniors, parents and adults from across the club headed to Edgbaston for a brilliant day out watching Birmingham Phoenix take on Sunrisers in The Hundred. 🔥🏏

A weekend of mixed fortunes for Cound CC, with a draw, a narrow defeat, and a convincing win for the 3rd XI. 💙❤️

The 1st XI battled hard to secure a well-earned draw after posting a competitive total.

The 2nd XI came up just short despite a spirited performance, while the 3rd XI produced a fantastic display to claim an impressive 8-wicket victory, chasing their target with plenty to spare. 👏

A mixed week last week for Cound CC, with one weekend win and another victory under the lights in our midweek fixture! 💙❤️

The 1st XI produced a fantastic performance to claim a 233-run victory, led by another outstanding all-round display from Connor Glendinning, who scored 59 before taking incredible figures of 6-26. 💪

Our midweek side also kept the momentum going with an impressive 8-wicket win to round off the week on a high! 👏
