The Midweek XI are back in action this evening as they travel to Column CC in league action.

A strong mix of youth and experience in the side and several players carrying good form into the fixture.

Another busy weekend ahead for Cound CC as all three senior sides are back in action.

🔹 1st XI travel to Montgomery looking to continue their strong run of form.
🔹 2nd XI host Bridgnorth at Cound.
🔹 3rd XI welcome Madeley to the club on Sunday.

🏏 Junior Round-Up 🏏

It’s been a fantastic couple of weeks for our junior section! 👏💙❤️

Our U13s have been in brilliant form, picking up three excellent wins and continuing to impress with their performances.

The U11 Hardball team remain unbeaten, making it an incredible 5 wins from 5 games this season! 🤩🔥

A special mention goes to Toby, who produced a superb bowling performance against Montgomery, claiming a brilliant 5-wicket haul! 👏🎯

Our U11 Softball team have also continued to make great progress, putting in some fantastic performances and showing excellent teamwork throughout.

Well done to all of our junior players, coaches, volunteers and supporters. It’s fantastic to see so many young cricketers enjoying their cricket and representing the club with pride.

Week 8 Results 🏏

A successful week for Cound CC, with wins for the 1st XI, 3rd XI and Midweek XI.

✅ 1st XI beat Bridgnorth by 36 runs
❌ 2nd XI fell short away at Newtown
✅ 3rd XI secured a 5-run victory over Bomere Heath
✅ Midweek XI progressed to the next round of the President’s Shield with a 116-run win over Chirk

👏 Special mention to Gabe Williams, whose unbeaten century in the President’s Shield helped fire the Midweek XI into the next round, as well as his half-ton on the Saturday!

Apologies for the delay in this post, we were unable to post it due to technical issues for a while!

A mixed week for Cound CC, with wins for the 3rd XI and Midweek XI.

The 3rd XI claimed a 54-run victory over Frankwell, while the Midweek XI continued their strong form with a commanding 100-run win over Calverhall.

Unfortunately, the 1st XI and 2nd XI both fell to narrow defeats against Newport and Iscoyd & Fenns Bank respectively.

Congratulations to all players on their performances and thank you for your continued support. We go again today! 💙❤️

A big well done to both of our U11 teams this season so far! 👏💙❤️

Our Softball team narrowly lost out to Whittington in their first game of the season, but put in a fantastic performance and showed great determination throughout.

Meanwhile, our Hardball team are off to a flying start with an impressive 2 wins from 2 games, including a cup game - so through to the next round! 🔥

We’re incredibly proud of all the players and can’t wait to see both teams continue to develop and enjoy their cricket this season.

Good luck to the Hardball team this Sunday as they take on Frankwell and Softball team as they host Shelton! 💪🏏
