First home show for rivals Motherwell and what a show it was, the results didn’t go our way but the support that was shown for all the lads was unreal 🙌
Peter opened the show with an exhibition he done great and is looking forward to his next tournament
Elijah had a brilliant fight against a strong lad from netherburn, the pair left it all in the ring after the 3 rounds the decision went against us. This was definitely the kids fight of the night🤩
Andrew fought in the ring for the first time, a bit of confusion with his fight getting changed to boxing last minute but he showed why he wants to be a fighter got in and boxed for 3 rounds losing out a close decision, we look forward to the rematch in kickboxing for September
Next up Guigsy made his return to the ring after 2 years out the game, a strong start to the fight scoring what looked like a clean knockdown which was then changed to a low blow they battled over 3 close round with the fight ending in a majority draw. Respect to Keogh and his team as both lads instantly agreed a rematch which is set for next weekend🔥
Last up the main event, Aiden competing for his first crack at the European title. A 5 round war which we and lots of others had him clearly winning but somehow the decision went split the other way🤯
Absolutely gutting for Aiden but the work ethic this lad has and the mindset I’m certain he will be a world champion very soon, to be only 3 years into kickboxing training and 10 fights in to his career and fighting at this level is a massive achievement in itself👌
