A huge well done to our crews at the Scottish Championships earlier this month! A great few days of racing and very successful for our club. New Junior Rowing News article written by our masters coach Dom McGrory in interview with our great club captain Laura Graham! The interview covers Laura’s rowing experience as well as gives you a great insight into some of her research conducted in her day job in the academic world!

In sport, it is all too often easy to blow past the individual feelings of athletes and how we, as coaches, can adapt our practice to provide the best platform for athletes to succeed.

‘MON THE PARK! We had a fantastic weekend up in Inverness at the Caley Cruisers Fours and Small Boats Head 2024. With a very tightly packed trailer, our club had a successful weekend with some great wins, and some novice crews who had their first races. Well done all! Thanks for hosting 🚣

WOMEN AND GIRLS IN SPORT WEEK 👯‍♀️ We are very fortunate in our club to have so many talented junior and senior female rowers. From our juniors, to our adult learn to row, to our mighty female 8, and our masters ladies trailblazing in our sport, we are very proud of our girls! 💪🏻

RACING FUN AT NITHSDALE 😍 Well done to our adult novice rowers who gave racing a go last weekend at the Nithsdale Regatta in beautiful Dumfries. Fun was our main goal of the day and always nice to walk away with a few medals! Well done to Tom, Caitlin, Leanne, Niamh, Chris and Lisa for your efforts.
