Information for competitors and spectators at Scottish Tournament 2022.

To ensure we can run the Tournament in a timely fashion we request that

1) Competitors: Please endeavour to arrive early and be ready to compete if everyone in your ring has arrived. We therefore recommend you arrive at least 30mins earlier. If you can arrive earlier still you will potentially be able to watch those in your school compete.

2) Spectators: Please be aware that evening's Demonstration will start no later than 7.00pm. We must exit the venue by 9.00pm therefore as noted in the previous post if you can arrive at least 30mins earlier (so before 6.30pm) that would be greatly appreciated.

08:00 Doors open
09:00 - 11:00 National Black Belt Testing
11:20 Competitors/ Spectators enter Hall
11:45 Judges Meeting
11:55 Official Opening Ceremony (Judges & competitors to attend)
12:00 Tournament
19:30 Promotions & Master's Exhibition*

* Master's Exhibition
Please allow +/- 30mins for the start time of the Master's Exhibition. This will depend on when the Tournament will finish. Therefore inform students, family members and spectators to arrive in plenty of time for the Master's Exhibition.

Please ensure you turn up by then.

09:00 - 12:00 National Black Belt Testing
12:00 - 13:15 Lunch
13:15 - 15:30 Demo Practice
16:00 Competitors/ Spectators enter Hall
16:30 Official Opening Ceremony (Judges & Black Belts competitors to attend)
4th Dahn & 3rd Dahn (All Ages), 2nd Dahn (Adults only), 1st Dahn (Adults only) commences

SATURDAY 25th MAY
07:30 Judges Meeting
08:30 Tournament
17:00* Demonstration

* DEMONSTRATION START TIME
Please allow +/- 30mins for the start time of the Demonstration. This will depend on whether the Tournament finishes early or overruns. Therefore, inform students, family members and spectators to arrive in plenty of time for the Demonstration.
