It was good to finally kick off the league campaign after a few weeks of very tough cup ties which unfortunately saw us exiting 2 tournaments having played against some very strong opposition. This week the boys went into the game determined to make a positive start to the league and that’s exactly what they did. A solid performance all round and a very convincing win.

A bad day at the office is probably the best way to describe the game today which was the second of our pre season friendlies. Nothing came together for us today and we were made to pay for sloppy defending and lack of quality by a very good Glasgow Athletic side. The positive out of it all is that it’s pre season and it was a good workout for all involved. Back to training this week where we will look to iron things out and get our focus back on working toward the start of the competitive games, which are only a few weeks away.

Today we kicked off the first of our scheduled pre season friendlies with a 2-1 win against Glasgow Saints FC. The boys played some good football at a decent level of intensity, which was pleasing to see given they’ve not had a game in so long. Today was a good run out with boys getting minutes in their legs and starting the journey to full fitness ahead of a new season in a new league. Thanks again to Glasgow Saints F.C. for the game and best wishes for the season ahead.

Fantastic news for the Muirhouse community!

Huge congratulations to our amazing community group and Motherwell Phoenix for installing a Defibrillator at Muirhouse Pavilion.

This life-saving device will provide a vital lifeline in the event of a cardiac emergency, giving peace of mind to everyone who uses the pavilion and surrounding areas. Your hard work and dedication to making our community a safer and healthier place is truly appreciated.
