25 YEARS ON 🇺🇸

Today, we remember everyone who lost their lives on September 11th, 2001, and stand with our Braves owners, friends and community across the United States – including the hundreds of owners who call New York home.

Our founding owner Chris first visited New York in 1994, aged 15, travelling with his dad for the World Cup. He’s returned many times since, for work, study and holidays, and has a deep love for the city and its people.

Today, Chris wanted to share a message with our American owners and everyone affected by the events of September 11th.

From Glasgow to New York, we’re thinking of you today 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿❤️💙

GREIG’S GETTING CLOSER 💪🔴🔵

After around six months out with a hip injury, Greig Stewart gives us an update on his recovery – and there are plenty of positives to take 👊

🗣️ “Rehab has been going well… it’s definitely been getting stronger which is the main thing.”

There’s still a bit of work to do, with Greig awaiting an MRI to get a clearer picture of the injury, but his sights are firmly set on getting back out there.

And when we asked if he’s excited to be back with the lads…

🗣️ “I’m absolutely buzzing to be honest.” ❤️

The 20-year-old joined the Braves in 2022 and can play across both defence and midfield.

Keep going, Greigy. We can’t wait to see you back out there 👊🔴🔵

OUR KEEPER JUST HAD TO KEEP US ALIVE 🧤😮‍💨

The Braves had missed our first penalty. Kilwinning had scored their first three.

Then up stepped Ross Connolly 👀

A huge dive high to his left keeps the shootout alive and levels things up from the spot 🚨

And from there?

THE BRAVES GO ON TO WIN 🏆🔴🔵

Connolly’s save proved absolutely crucial as we booked our place in Round 3 of the South Challenge Cup.

That’s what you call stepping up when it matters 🫡

BEN’S OFF ON LOAN 👋 🔴 🔵

18-year-old centre-back Ben Nelson has joined Dalbeattie Star on loan until January 👊

Ben joined the Braves this season and has already made several starts for the first 11, as well as featuring in a number of other games ⚽️

Now it’s time for the next step in his development.

We’ll be keeping a close eye on Ben over the coming months and wish him all the best with Dalbeattie Star for the rest of the year 👏
