This is being to comfortable in your lifestyle.

Get comfortable, being uncomfortable..

Results will come.

Mad to think this prep seemed to go on forever and a day.

But since then, the time has absolutely flown by.

Was hard to get into this shape, and let me tell you, even harder to maintain ๐Ÿ˜…

Difficult to find a happy-medium between having low body fat, and eating pizza & donuts!

But I will strive to find that balance ๐Ÿ˜…

So this is a different form of progress.

My client came to me with the goal of losing fat and getting fitter, might be similar to your goals..

Problem was, working on a laptop most days from home, meant movement was literally on the floor (as you can see from the bottom number).

So I asked what kind of number did she achieve on her most active days, and settled on 3-4000 steps.

So we both agreed that if that could be done somedays, it can be done every day.

We set our target.

We went for 5000 steps, per day, no days off.

Meaning going about her normal day to day life was now not an option; we had to make a conscious effort to find those extra steps we set.

The term non-negotiable came up, and set a target of 2 weeks of not missing one day of steps.

Obviously this was imprinted on the brain, as not one day was missed, which is massive for someone who was averaging

If the goal is fat loss, then tracking food is ๐€๐‹๐–๐€๐˜๐’ going to make, or ultimately break your progress.

Often I hear people saying that they go out running, they do HIIT classes, and finish their gym sessions on the treadmill, but just cant lose weight.

Upon delving into the nutrition side, it becomes a common theme that these people just arenโ€™t tracking food correctly.

After a few days of tracking, you will soon find just how easily you go above your maintenance calories.

As soon as you go above that number, fat loss then becomes impossible ๐Ÿ™…๐Ÿฝโ€โ™‚๏ธ

The first 2 things I prompt my new clients to do is download my fitness pal, and spend sometime familiarising yourself with it, and spend 5 of their hard earned pounds on a set of electronic kitchen scales.

I am am absolutely an advocate of EVERYONE should be doing cardio, in some way, shape, or form..

But weighing, and tracking your food will bring better, and importantly more sustainable results in the long term.

January has came & went.

How are you getting on?

Have you killed this first few weeks of the year?

Or has it been the same old story, & struggling to nail down a routine?

Iโ€™ve been in the shoes of starting a new year, and going it alone, and ultimately getting nowhere!

I was apprehensive about reaching out for help, because it made me feel like a failure.

But to this day, it is one of the best decisions I ever made.

Not only did I end up with a body I never thought I would ever have, but I actually learned the process of what I was doing and why I was doing it.

For most people, the hardest part of their journey is reaching out & asking for help..

When Steffanie () and I first started working together, she reached out slightly apprehensive, with questions and what I could offer her, as she had never worked with a coach.

In her words, she had body fat to lose, & was nervous to go to the gym.

Asking questions is honestly such a big part of choosing your coach.

Same goes for a coach asking you questions.

Red flag when your coach doesnโ€™t discuss eating habits, current work/life balance & training ๐Ÿšฉ

Steffanie & I ironed all this out.

We found out that breakfast & lunch was 100% on point, but the issue came at night when snacking took over, and allowed herself to binge too often.

Needless to say Steffanie nailed everything we put in place, while still enjoying the pleasures of life ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ
