🟡Forgewood vs Chapelhall ⚫️

Not the start back we had hoped for on Sunday as we were beaten 4-2 in a very competitive game. Both team’s battling to gain control of the game, some end to end stuff and a few rough challenges going in on both sides. Having going down to 10 men in the first half the lads battled to the final whistle to try and salvage something from the game but ultimately the red card gave them a huge advantage, making it difficult for the lads to play to their full potential.

All the best to chapelhall for the remainder of the season.

Good to get the win at the weekend with the lads facing an unfamiliar opponent in the west district cup. A typical cup game which had a lot of back and forth, some really good football be played and some controversial decisions. Both team slugged it out to the end of the 90 mins resulting in a penalty shootout. The lads then went on to win it with a top save from Scott Ingram and then Barry Hipson stepping up to smash in the winner. In to the next round we go 😁.

Need to mention Martin Speirs and Ryan Hipson for digging deep through injury for the team 💛🖤
