Car Park Safety

Please be aware that there is a one-way system in operation on the business park. This is for everyone's safety and convenience.

Make yourselves, and anyone responsible for drop off and collection, aware of the appropriate direction of travel so that you don't cause congestion as people are entering and exiting the business park. We've put cones and signs out this week to give drivers a clearer indication.

We've recently had incidences of near misses reported. These have happened mainly when children are moving from their parents cars to the main entrance.

Firstly, please make sure you use the 'Pedestrian Gate' we have installed rather than sharing the large gateway with cars.

Secondly, we have a zero tolerance policy for anyone stopping to drop off or parking in the area between the two gates either side of our main entrance or outside/near Unit 7. Parking in any of these areas causes unnecessary congestion blocking the flow of traffic. It also blocks the view of children moving in and out of our main entrance.

Anyone stopping or parking in these areas will be instructed to move immediately. If people continue to do this they will no longer be welcome to visit our club.

As a coaching team we are not able to stand outside at change-over times to supervise and ensure everyone is driving into our large car park at the rear. Nor should we need to.

As this is a matter of safeguarding and protecting the children that use our facility we expect that we can trust parents, grandparents, friends, siblings (whoever is responsible for drop off and pick up) to behave with safety as their greatest priority rather than your own convenience.

GymTastics Competition with Welsh Gymnastics 2026

Open to Foundation, Mixed Ability, Springers (once a week)

We are very excited to share a new opportunity with you all. An opportunity for all recreational gymnasts who train between 45 and 90 minutes per week to attend our GymTastics event (classes this is available to are Foundation, Mixed Ability and Springers who attend only once per week). The event gives the opportunity to join in, have fun and show everyone their fabulous gymnastics. There are no age limits, gymnasts will be competing against themselves only to achieve awards which will be presented in front of the audience. It’s a great opportunity to experience a competition format for the first time.

Gymnasts are required to complete 4 routines across the 6 available apparatus: Floor, Vault, Bar, Rings, Beam/Bench, Trampoline

Venue: Delyn Recreational Gymnastics Club, Unit 8,
Mostyn Road Business Park, Llanerch-Y-Mor, CH8 9DQ

Date of Event: 17th/18th October
(the actual date and time slot for your child’s
competition will be advised two weeks before the
event).

Cost for Entry: £15 (includes hire of club competition leotard)

We offer recreational gymnastics for parent and toddlers, school age children, teenagers. It's important to us that our members enjoy their time with us and are able to challenge themselves and develop body confidence in their own time and a way that suits them.

Please be advised that due to the coaching team supporting gymnasts competing this weekend at the Annette Brown Classic Series Competition in Bangor there will be no sessions this Saturday (5th).

Sessions affected include;
