⚽💚 We’re hosting a charity football match in aid of the MND Association and would love your support.

Motor neurone disease (MND) is a life-shortening neurological condition that affects the nerves controlling movement. It causes progressive muscle weakness, which can affect how a person walks, talks, eats, drinks and breathes.

Please come along, cheer on the players, and help us raise awareness and funds for a fantastic cause. Any donation, no matter the size, is hugely appreciated.

💚 END OF SEASON THANK YOU 💚

As another season comes to a close, everyone at Morwenstow AFC would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has been part of the club this year.

To our players, supporters, volunteers, committee members, sponsors and everyone who has given up their time to help the club throughout the season. Your support, commitment and hard work are what keep this club going year after year.

A special thank you must go to our 1st Team Manager, Gilly, who has taken charge of his final game for Morwenstow AFC.

After more than 20 years of coaching and dedication to grassroots football, Gilly leaves his role having guided the 1st Team to Premier Division survival, finishing the season in 10th place. A fitting end to a chapter that has seen countless players benefit from his knowledge, commitment and passion for the game.

Whether you know him as Gilly, "Teletubby", or one of the many other names that probably shouldn't be repeated on social media, one thing is certain — his contribution to this club has been immense.

Don't worry though, we're sure this won't be the last we'll see of him around the club! 💚

From everyone connected with Morwenstow AFC, thank you for everything you have done for the club over the years. Your commitment has never gone unnoticed, and you have played a huge part in helping shape the club into what it is today.

As one chapter closes, another begins, and we look forward to welcoming a new manager for the season ahead.

What a way to finish the season MAFC 1st! 💚

The 1st Team travelled to Landkey Town knowing that only a win would guarantee their place in the Premier Division for next season. With relegation a real possibility and it being manager Gilly's final game in charge, the stakes couldn't have been higher.

The greens rose to the occasion in style, producing a fantastic performance and securing a huge 4-0 victory away from home 👏💪

The result ensures the lads remain in the Premier Division and caps off a hard-fought season, finishing 10th out of 13 teams.

The 2nd Team finish their season with a hard-fought 1-0 victory at home against Sandymere Blues 1st 👏

A great way to end the campaign and cap off a solid season for the lads. Finishing 7th out of 14 teams, right in the middle of the table, is a fantastic achievement and a testament to the effort, commitment and determination shown throughout the season 💚

As we look ahead to next season, there will be some changes, with the club now on the hunt for a new 2nd Team manager. An exciting opportunity for someone to help take the team forward.

🏁 FINAL DAY — NORTH DEVON FOOTBALL LEAGUE 2025/26 🏁
The final day is here, with 10 fixtures rounding off an exciting season across the Premier Division and Intermediate One Division.

Unfortunately, Lynton 1st were unable to fulfil their fixture due to player commitments. This confirms Bradworthy United 1st finish the season UNBEATEN, winning every match with a superb +68 goal difference. 🔥👏

⚽ PREMIER DIVISION — FINAL DAY DRAMA
🔵 Braunton 1st (already runners‑up) travel to Holsworthy 2nd, who are battling to escape the relegation zone. Their fate also depends on Morwenstow 1st, who must get past Landkey Town 1st.

🟡 Landkey Town 1st are pushing for a win to leapfrog Combe Martin 1st into 5th place but Combe Martin will be fighting to hold that spot as they face Appledore Lions 1st in Torrington.

🔴 AFC Dumnonii 1st look to finish a strong season with a bang, but bottom‑placed Woolsery 1st could cause a huge upset. A Woolsery win, plus defeats for Morwenstow 1st and Holsworthy 2nd — could lift them out of the relegation zone. 👀

📈 INTERMEDIATE ONE — RACE FOR RUNNERS‑UP
🥈 The battle for second place is alive:

✨ Kingsley Wizards 1st need just one point away at Holsworthy 3rd.
✨ Sandymere Blues 1st MUST win away at Morwenstow 2nd — a draw won’t do.

Elsewhere:

🔹 Putford 1st can sn**ch 4th place from Arlington Cup Champions South Molton 2nd with a win over Fremington 3rd.
🔹 High Bickington 1st need at least a point vs Braunton 3rd to stay clear of the bottom three.
🔹 Equalizers 1st & Torridgeside 3rd will finish 8th & 9th regardless of today’s result.
