Classy Milan start the season with top tier performance 👌🏻⚽️
Amble AFC Milan U9s vs Cramlington Juniors Reds U10’s
A really positive performance from our Milan boys as they stepped up to U10 level for their first test against Crammy Juniors U10 Reds.
We started the game a little tentatively, with Cramlington looking the brighter side during the opening five minutes. However, the early nerves soon disappeared and the boys began to find their stride, moving the ball well and starting to play their patterns of football.
After a good spell of pressure and some excellent team play, our captain was on hand to tap home from close range and give us the lead.
From that point on, the boys really took control of the game. The boys grew in confidence and continued to play some classy football, limiting Cramlington to very few clear chances.
Into the second half, Milan continued to dominate. Our flying winger was brought down inside the box, giving us the opportunity to double our advantage from the pen spot. Our centre back stepped up calmly and confidently, slotting the penalty home.
The boys saw the game out brilliantly, showing confidence and a real desire to play football the right way.
A fantastic first test at U10 level for our boys. There were plenty of positives to take from the performance, particularly the way they settled into the game, stuck to their patterns and grew in confidence as the match went on.
