Last game done and dusted till after Christmas and what a game this was. Well done 🔴⚫️

Ellington Junior Girls V Hexham Jaguar Girls 3-0⚽️⚽️⚽️

Another win for the girls today we came out strong and within seconds of kick off we scored thank you to Amelia who took the corner and Ella scored from outside the box well done for always battling through and your 1V1 defending is fantastic.

Second goal came by a great assist by Jess which led Darcie through to tap it in, Hexham girls then started applying more pressure but Ellington girls defence stayed tight and strong.

Our third goal came from Darcie straight from a corner kick Hexham kept on fighting to try and score but our keepers pulled off some great saves and again our defence was to strong. Our midfields worked their socks off bringing plenty attack to the game

Ellington girls fought hard with numerous of counter attacks but Hexham girls keeper stood tall and pulled off some great saves to stop our girls from scoring more.

Another Victory for the girls today 3-2⚡️

Ellington Girls were up against Whitley Bay Girls (Tigers)

The girls started off slow then gradually grew into the game despite the rain and muddy conditions we create lots of chances but just couldn't hit the back of the net in the first half.

Girls went back out in second half and managed to score within seconds of kick off thanks to a great assist by our goalkeeper Sam who led Amelia through to score but the opposition came back fighting and managed to equalize within minutes which made the girls have to fight harder. Then ours girls ended up switching off and the opposition scored again the girls did not stop fighting.

Ellington got given a penalty from a hand ball but keeper went the right way and pulled off a great save!

We got awarded a free kick which was placed top left bins by our centre back Ella that put us back level with Whitley Bay, within minutes left of the game our midfielder Ava scored us the winning goal. Well done to all the girls today🔴⚫️

Ellington Girls played Wallsend Greens away today with a 7-3 win. This is definitely what the girls have needed 🔴⚫️

Ellington girls dominated that whole pitch today every single girl played their part ⚽️

And own goal by the opposition

🏅Player of the match (home) was Ruby- well done for bossing defence a position you never really play.

🏅Player of the match (away) was Jess- being very strong down the wing and being very competitive against Wallsend.

Girls did their minute silence today for Remembrance Day 🫶🏻

Tough result today with a 5-1 loss to North Shields.

In the first half our girls weren't with it and was caught off guard North Shields were a physical team. We did create some chances but it wasn't our day today.

Well done to Ella for getting her first goal from a superbly taken free kick⚽️⚽️

🏅Choosing our home player of the match was Ella for standing out and being solid at the back again

🏅Away player was Katie for defending and clearing the ball well.

Thank you to Ever Fresh in Guidpost for the girls fresh Bananas before their game it is very much appreciated they went down a treat 🙂

Tough result today with a 3-0 loss to New Fordley our girls held their own but New Fordley was a strong side. We go again next weekend!!!

Some of our Ellington girls had a two day camp at Professional Football Coaching - PFC which they loved ⚽️⚽️ some awards were given out. Hopefully one day we can get them altogether for another camp 🤞🏻

Ellington girls played Heaton Hawks away today, with another tough and physical battle on the pitch the girls managed to walk away with another 2-0 win each and every girl played their part on the pitch despite the wind they battled till that final whistle ⚽️

Today we played Hexham Juniors at home and another fantastic win for Ellington GIrl's with an impressive 5-3 the girls battled on until that final whistle with a few mistakes but the girls turned it around and they are buzzing they got a win under there belt today well done to each and everyone of you's.

Ellington girls played against Bedlington Rockettes tonight was a hard and physical game. This game could have went either way. We created loads of chances, defended and battled well it just wasn't our night tonight with few silly mistakes that cost us 3-2 defeat girls are absolutely gutted but they will bounce back.

Well done girls you battled right till the end proud doesn't cover it win, lose draw we are in this together ⚽️⚽️⚽️

First game of the season against Wallsend B.C greens and our girls like to keep us on our toes (as always 😂)it started off slow with a 1-0 up from the opposite team the girls applied plenty pressure and our girls just kept banging the goals in once they found there feet. They only came away with a win of 9-2 outstanding performances from each and every one of you. For being only together one season and chucked straight in to division 1 from division 3!!

Ellington girls had a friendly against Killingworth today ready for there season starting next weekend after not having any training for 3 weeks they came away with a win of 5-0 they played brilliantly ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️
