We’ve got home games at Bruntcliffe, mini festivals on the road, and plenty of chances to get behind the teams from the touchline.

☀️ WITH TEMPERATURES SOARING — PLEASE READ AND SHARE ☀️

We know how tempting it can be for kids and young people to head towards rivers, canals, lakes and reservoirs when the weather is hot.

But the message is simple:

COLD WATER KILLS.

Even on the hottest days, open water can still be dangerously cold. Cold water shock can hit in seconds, taking your breath away, causing panic and making even strong swimmers lose control.

Please speak to your children and remind them:

🚫 Don’t jump in to cool off
🚫 Stay back from edges
🚫 Don’t go near water alone
🚫 No dares, no showing off, no risks

If someone gets into trouble:

📞 Call 999 immediately
🛟 Throw something that floats
❌ Do not go into the water after them

Enjoy the sunshine, but please be smart. We want every child home safe.

Look out for your mates. Look out for your teammates. Look out for each other.
