And that’s a wrap, 2020 was a very tough year for us all but, couldn’t be more proud of the progress made by all of the players. Plenty of time to work on players technique this year, hopefully we get more opportunities to put into matches next year!

Can’t thank everyone enough this year for their efforts and commitments to tennis this year, regardless of the year we’ve had it’s been a success on court🎾

Premier League is almost back which means so is our fundraiser !! Well done to for winning lasts seasons PL Predictor!

This season we will be raising money for 33rd Wallasey Sea Scouts Group, due to COVID-19 it’s not possible for the scouts to deliver scout post this Christmas which leaves a big gap in funds to keep their events running!

If you would like to take part message me and I will arrange getting a sheet to you to fill in 😊

All sheets must be completed by 12th September 11:30 1 hour before the Premier League kicks off! All payments must be made before this deadline too otherwise your entry will be voided.

We would really appreciate it if everyone can give this a quick read and pass it on to anyone who this may help! are a brilliant business that help many children year in year out please help share their work ❤️🙏🏻

Good morning, and hope you are still enjoying your summer holidays or perhaps, like us, are you ready to get back to work! Unfortunately, there still is a lot of uncertainty surrounding the ‘return to school’, and that still leaves Team Thumbs Up pondering our way forward. We have several bookings in the diary through Zoom/Teams etc, and other schools have purchased our online programme to ensure their children are receiving the mental health and wellbeing support that the children will undoubtedly require upon the return to the classroom.

Cath and I will be hosting a FREE Zoom session tomorrow at 2pm for us to offer some support to children, parents/carers and teachers. We will be providing you with some vital coping strategies than will help you in the coming weeks and are excited to answer lots of questions that we have been asked over the lockdown/summer holiday period. We also will be making a VERY exciting announcement!

Finally some good news! Tennis is a great example of how we can keep active during these uncertain times. Get those rackets ready as we will be back on court from early next week! Can’t thank the LTA enough for how they have worked closely with and looked after coaches to ensure we are all still here to provide a service. Let’s be grateful that we have been given an opportunity to get back on court 😊🎾
