What a fantastic first day of our Summer Dance Exams!☀️💃

Last Sunday, dancers of all ages took part in BBO syllabus exams in Ballet, Tap & Modern, and every single one of them was absolutely fabulous. We are so proud of the hard work, commitment, and determination shown by everyone who stepped into the exam room.
It was wonderful to see confidence shining through across all grades and ages. A huge well done to all our dancers for representing the school so beautifully. 🌟

Special mention to Grace & Annabel. From their very first pre-primary ballet exam, they have danced side by side all the way to achieving their Grade 8 ballet exam – a wonderful testament to their dedication, friendship, and love of dance.

Now we look ahead to our next Summer Exam Day, which is just 3 weeks away! Keep working hard, keep enjoying your dancing, and keep reaching for your goals. ❤️✨

What a fantastic 4 days at Kendal Dance Festival! ☀️💃

We are so proud of all our pupils who danced beautifully and coped amazingly well in the heat. A wonderful time was had by children, parents and teachers alike, making lots of special memories along the way.

A huge congratulations to all our pupils who were awarded trophies at the festival presentation🏆✨

A special mention to Lydia, who was chosen to perform her Song & Dance in the Adjudicator’s Choice after winning her section with 94 marks - such an amazing achievement! 🌟

Now it’s time for a little rest before Monday classes restart as our summer exams are fast approaching! 👯‍♀️📚

✨ Break a leg to all the incredible young performers taking the stage in Into the Woods from 15th–18th April! 🌳🎭

We’re so proud to have one of our own pupils from the dancing school involved in this exciting first production by a local youth amateur dramatic group.

Supporting opportunities like this for children in our community is so important—giving them the chance to shine, grow in confidence, and create something truly special.

Celebrating a special milestone and an incredible achievement! 🌟

Huge congratulations to Charlotte on winning the Junior Bursary — a fantastic accomplishment and so well deserved.

As we mark the 20th anniversary since members of the LSDF committee took over from the founder, it’s a perfect moment to recognise both our history and the bright future ahead.

A huge congratulations to our older pupils for their incredible hard work at the Lancaster Stage Dance Festival heat of Miss Dance 2026 ✨

They were all absolutely fabulous on stage and represented the school with such talent, confidence, and dedication. We are so proud of each and every one of you!

It was also wonderful to see such lovely support from the rest of the school — it truly made the experience even more special 💙

We couldn’t be prouder of all our pupils – the dedication, passion, and hard work shown throughout the week has been truly inspiring. From early mornings to long days on stage, every moment has paid off.

And to top it all off… we brought home the School Cup! 🏆
