Dear all!!

So the summer holidays have officially started and the weather is wonderful!! I have ALOT of admin to catch up on but wanted to provide some important information to you all at the same time!

SHOWTIME 2027 - I have finally managed to book the Dukes and we are programmed in for Sunday 23rd May - a matinee and evening performance. Of course we have two important rehearsal dates which are dress rehearsal at St Christophers Friday 14th May 4pm onwards and technical run Saturday 15th May 11-3pm. Consent forms will be handed out in September.

AWARDS PARTY - please remember the awards evening 6pm-9pm on Saturday 12th September - £10 per ticket. Spaces are filling fast which is lovely but there are still lots of exam students not paid.

TIMETABLE CHANGES - I am emailing EVERYONE individually to confirm timetable changes and this is an opportunity to try new classes - just thinking of the show and the more they do the more exciting it is for the children. They are minor time changes nothing drastic!

PAYMENT IN AUGUST - please remember to keep the standing order the same for August - I have divided the payments over a 12 month period to make it easier and more affordable. On your individual email you new standing order amount will be calculated and invoice will reflect that.

ROAD RESURFACING - this applies 30/06 and 1/07 - update for Saturday will be given nearer the time.

So the council DID decide to resurface St Christophers Way!! The hall is still accessible. Although there are cones out from Broadway they have left a gap for accessibility. You may see signs saying road closed but it is just to try and stop people using it who don't really need to.

If you don't feel you want to enter via a beat up road then you could park on the prom and walk down the side of the hall.

Either way you can get to the hall.

Please note it is still parent/guardian observation evening xx

65 children entered into IDTA examination today and 65 smilies coming out of the exam room - a warm day handled by the kids and parents so well! Thank you to the helpers - especially Susan Fozard for playing the music and my mother for being caterer ###

Tomorrow is our exam session and we shall be dedicating the day to Mr Phil Winston who sadly passed away yesterday. His legacy lives on in all dance schools and to anyone who was lucky enough to have the pleasure of meeting him. To say he will be missed in the dance world is an understatement ###x 😔
