THIS FRIDAY!🌊🧘‍♀️🧡💜

This Friday evening I’ll be joining together with my very good friend, yoga student and fellow teacher Marie Claire Yoga with Marie-Claire for a very special team taught Beach Yoga, raising money for St Mary’s Hospice in Ulverston.

This is a cause incredibly close to Marie Claire’s heart, and I’m so grateful that we can bring our yoga community together to support🙏

In Marie Claire’s words:

“It means everything to me to raise money for St Mary’s Hospice, Ulverston. They gave my mum the most dignified end of life we could’ve possibly wished for.

I am edging closer to my ultimate fundraising total and this will culminate in me participating in the Great North Run this Sunday 13th.

It costs £6.1 million annually to run the Hospice, with a whopping 80% of this coming from public fundraising.

I have been overwhelmed with the kindness and compassion shown to me by so many people and our beautiful yoga community. I would love to share this very poignant and special evening with you for one last push towards my goal.

Thank you, for everything.” 💜

And so, this Friday we’ll meet by the sea for a Late Summer Beach Yoga! 😍🧘‍♀️🌊🧡

Marie Claire and I will teach together, sharing a beautiful yoga class on the beach that is available to anyone and everyone that wants to join. It is a donation event and there is no cap on numbers so let’s all join together and close the Summer in style moving, breathing, connecting and doing something that can genuinely make a difference.

I’ve been pairing up with Chelsea now for a few years and offering a little 10 minute yoga cool down at the end of her body blast sessions during August.

I just thought I’d share this little clip as I loved spending the evening doing this last night, and I love even more that everyone had a go and took themselves out of their comfort zone.

Oh, and this morning I got my last pledge for the charity yoga classes we held at so in total over the two classes we raised £256.25 for 🧡💜🧡💜🧡💜

How am I grateful? Let me count the ways…

For the last two weeks. You all showing up. I know you did it to do the yoga, but you also did it as you saw how much it meant to me to do this for my Mum’s memory.

This morning we banked a further £112.50 for St Mary's Hospice Ulverston with a few more pledges due to come in. It meant the world to me to have friends, family, past clients and present yogi friends with me. To hear you say ‘Your Mum would be so proud of you’ and for my daughter to tell me she weeped a little when she heard my voice cracking as I read this poem at the end.

That’s a wrap (for now) on the yoga classes from me at The Beach Yoga Space, but if you want to join me and Chelsea | Personal Trainer, pop over to her page and come and join us for circuits and yoga on Monday nights through August.

It’s been an absolute pleasure. And yes, she would be very proud.

Another £112.50 in the pot this morning from donations. Thank you so much to everyone who came.

I’m nearly half way to my fundraising goal. My current total stands at £2468.75.

I have another class next Saturday August 1st with two spaces left if anyone wants to join.
