A fantastic way to start the season.

After an excellent pre-season, the lads continued their impressive form today with an exceptional win in our opening game.

The hard work, commitment and togetherness this group has shown throughout pre-season has been clear to see and today was another great example of what they are capable of.

A long season lies ahead but the foundations have been laid and we’re incredibly excited to see just how far this group of lads can go.

The season starts here.

⚽️ THAT’S PRE-SEASON DONE! ⚽️

Today our U11s finished off their pre-season and what a way to round it off.

A fantastic group stage in the Bispham Juniors tournament against some quality opposition saw the lads finish 2nd, taking us into the Cup knockouts.

The quarter final saw us come up against a fantastic Preston City side. Unfortunately, we fell short this time but the effort from the boys was fantastic and they can hold their heads high. 💙

And when you look back at the last three months, what a pre-season these lads have had

🥅 1 Quarter-Final
✅ 15 Wins
❌ Only 3 Defeats
And all in three months of consistent pre-season football

An unbelievable effort from every single one of the lads. The commitment, attitude and desire they have shown throughout the summer has been fantastic and as coaches we couldn’t be more proud of them.

Now the real stuff begins.

The season starts next week… and we cannot wait to see what this group of boys can achieve.

A huge well done to William, one of our Lancaster City Juniors players, who has just completed the York Kids Triathlon! 💪

What an incredible achievement and something he should be really proud of. It takes plenty of determination to take on a challenge like that, and William absolutely smashed it!

The lads carried the celebrations into tonight’s training session, with a few blue & yellow surprises before finishing the evening together with pizza and chips!

🏆 WHAT. A. DAY. 🏆

Second in the group on goal difference, before being handed the toughest possible route to the final.

Quarter-final against Highgrove — unbeaten for 2 seasons. We took them to penalties and held our nerve. 👊

Semi-final against Morecambe Hawks — a team playing up a year last season and again this season. A hard-fought 1-0 win. 💪

Then the final… 2-0 down to Poulton Ultras,

Most teams would have folded. Not these lads.

They showed unbelievable character, belief and determination to turn it around and win 3-2. 🔥⚽

From second in the group to tournament champions, beating some seriously tough opposition along the way.

Couldn’t be prouder of every single one of them. ❤️
