Our final friendly of the summer on Tuesday as we welcomed Craven Wanderers for a 6pm kick off.👍

Football is a funny game and in a match where we played better than last week's win we somehow came away without. Lessons for the girls to take away and the determination they all showed was admirable - we played some great football along the way.⚽️

Our player(s) of the match were both Isla and Bella, Bella put in a great performance leading our attack and was alive to everything that came near her. Ivy was our scorer, making her our top scorer during over the summer months.🎯Also thank you to Joy, Anna, Emily, and Ivy again who shared goalkeeping duties throughout!

After the match we recognised Ellie, Connie, and Isla as all having superb attitudes towards training over the last few months. We're lucky to have a brilliant group but these 3 have led by example during July and August. Well done girls.⭐️

We'll see Craven again in the not too distant future. Thanks for a friendly played in good spirit.💙

Another friendly for our team yesterday evening after a quieter few weeks for us.👍

We welcomed Kendal United who'll be with us next season in our league, it was a good match with chances for either team.

Our girls came out on top with goals coming from Nevaeh and Ellie (including an absolute screamer from Ellie).🎯Both girls played well, definitely deserved goals that were well taken. Poppy took home player of the match, such a proactive and classy performance.⭐️

Yesterday also saw the debut of our new pink away kit sponsored by charity SAFE - Socialease (more on that to follow) and we loved having Lancaster Ladies player Imogen Graham in our technical area supporting us through the match.💙

Well done girls, we are hoping to fit in 1 more friendly before the season begins.

An enjoyable morning yesterday as we took on Myerscough U15, a tough test facing older opposition but the girls faced it with strength and determination as always.💪

We had met before so Myerscough weren't completely new to us, it was a pleasure to see the team working well together as our preparations for next season continue. It was Myerscough who came out on top yesterday in a pretty even game, our goals coming from Anna and Connie, great strikes that would have been tough to save for anybody.🎯

Great shifts from the entire team yesterday with just a 10 minute spell straight after half time letting us down, it was Anna and Lola who earned player(s) of the match. Anna - for her goal and hard work throughout, being proactive in all moments of the match, and Lola for great defensive work against an older team than she's been used to playing previously.

Well done all and thanks to Myerscough for a great match played in good spirit.💙

We made it to the top! Yesterday some of our parents and players took on Helvellyn in a huge effort to raise money for our upcoming season. Safe to say that Isla and Anna absolutely smashed it, practically running up the mountain and skipping back down it!💪

A hot day made their task even more difficult. A great achievement by both players and parents, we've raised vital funds for our team that will help us massively in the coming weeks and months. 🥾⛰️

A thoroughly enjoyable friendly against Walton le Dale yesterday played at St Mary's and St Benedict's RC Primary School in Bamber Bridge. A close encounter between 2 teams who've never met before ultimately ended in a draw, a result neither team could have complained about.👍

Both sides enjoyed spells of pressure throughout with our goals coming from Ivy, including a pinpoint effort into the far corner of the net to draw us level with around 15 minutes left.🎯 We were also happy to see both Lola and Connie play their first matches for us, with Connie providing an assist during the first half.

Most of all the game was played in top spirits and it was a pleasure to visit Walton le Dale. Thanks for hosting and best of luck with the upcoming season!💙
