Pause United can confirm that we have reluctantly accepted the resignation of First Team Manager Aaron Helliwell.
When Aaron first took charge of the club, Pause United were sitting 3rd bottom of Division Two with just 13 points. Since then, he has transformed the club on and off the pitch, building a talented squad playing some of the most exciting football the club has seen.
Under Aaron’s leadership, the club scored 315 goals in 103 games, while winning the President Cup, Challenge Cup, and League Title in 2025.
More importantly, Aaron helped lay strong foundations that give the club a platform to continue progressing in the years ahead. His dedication, passion, and vision have left a lasting impact on everyone connected with Pause United.
Everyone at the club will always be grateful for everything Aaron has done. While we are saddened to see him leave, we fully respect his decision and wish him and his family every success and happiness for the future.
The club will now begin the process of appointing a new First Team Manager to build on the incredible foundations that have been put in place and help lead Pause United into its next chapter. We are looking for someone who shares the club’s ambition, values, and passion. Anyone interested in the role should email the club with an expression of interest [email protected]
