I haven’t posted on here for ages!!!!

I’ve been loving Hyrox at IMPACT FITNESS and really trying to get my fitness levels back up. So today, whilst Logan is at goal keeper training, I used the Hyrox Active 9BX area at Dundee Regional Performance Centre for sport.

I completed full distance stations with 1 lap runs (plods) between. Didn’t race, just got through each stage and really enjoyed it. Shattered now.

Thank you RPC, you are all lovely and so helpful! Loved the facilities. 🙌🏻

Wow can’t believe this was nearly 2 weeks ago!! Feels like a dream now!!

Sorry for the silence! I’ve been busy, exhausted, unwell and just trying to get back to ‘normal’!!!

What an experience it was!!!!!

Met so many amazing people!!! Cried and laughed so much! Never loved and hated anything so intensely at the same time!!! Loved the walks, talks, laughs and scenery! Bloody hated camping, sleep deprivation and summit night!

Never realised I would have to dig so deep to get to the top!!!! I had everyone in my mind that sponsored and encouraged us! Thank you!! Plus those guides, they are amazing and I made it there and back thanks to them and total determination!!!

However, mostly the kids, if they can still smile whilst going through pain and unbearable itch, then I was going to suck up my pain, dry my tears and get my ass up the bloody mountain!!!

I won’t miss hearing …. poley poley, sippy sippy or where’s the salt 🧂😂 but I am missing those I climbed with!

Esp thanks to Peter, Brodie and Logan for having my back and being patient during all the fundraising!

Thanks to my Dad Colin and Step Mum Marjory for travelling down from Wick and babysitting for two weeks to let me go!

Also, to the most amazing woman Laura, thank you for inviting me on this adventure, your energy, drive and how you looked after everyone is inspiring plus, your friendship that means so much to me! What a laugh, esp your sleeping bag shenanigans 😂.

I miss our Scotland team, Debra Kilimanjaro Team , you are brilliant and I can’t wait for the reunion! Plus our bigger team reunion with everyone we met there at Debrafest next year!!!! Loved the laughs and bosies!
