U16 Vics Players Selected for Angus Schools U18 Select Team

We are delighted to celebrate the success of two of our players, Abbie and Lucy who have been selected for the Angus Schools Select Team at U18 level.

This is a fantastic achievement for both players, who previously represented Angus Schools successfully at U15 level. Their selection at U18 level is a testament to their continued hard work, commitment and development as footballers.

Both players have continued to demonstrate their ability and dedication within our team, and it is fantastic to see their efforts recognised at county level.

Everyone at the club would like to congratulate them on this well-deserved achievement and wish them every success as they represent Angus Schools at U18 level. A fantastic achievement and one that the whole team can be proud of!

Montrose Youth FC U16 Girls Vics Receive £100 Sponsorship

Montrose Youth FC U16 Girls Vics would like to extend their sincere thanks to Douglas F Mitchell – Haulage Contractor for their generous £100 sponsorship towards the team’s upcoming trip to the Blackpool Cup 2027.

The family-run business, established in 1974 based in Laurencekirk, has supported the girls as they continue to develop and represent Montrose on and off the pitch.

The sponsorship will help the team with the costs associated with taking part in the tournament, providing the girls with an exciting opportunity to compete, build friendships and create lasting memories.

Montrose Youth Football Club held the club AGM on Monday 7th September 2026 at Links Park Stadium.
