Something to make you chuckle.

Calorie deficit is one method to help you lose weight, remember thought that you can still enjoy food. You can have those crisps, biscuits or that cheat meal.

Just don't be there every day will help benefit you on your journey.

You can use a daily calorie counter/tracker, but something you can also have is a weekly counter, you can split those calories throughout the week, you can reduce your daily calories to a lower amount and carry over to the weekend for those special events. But this should not be more than 50% of your daily calories. For example, if your target calorie intake is 14,000 calories per week, you could consume 2,300 calories three days a week, and 1,775 the other four days of the week, or you could consume 2,000 calories each day.

Get outside and enjoy nature, not all training has to be in the gym. Not everyone enjoys the confines of the gym, some people enjoy walking or cycling, so do things that you enjoy.

When you start your journey make small changes at a time, start with doing the program. The next change is your nutrition. One step at a time, over time you will achieve your goals.

One final thing for now is that remember the training never gets easy, as you develop so do your goals. In time your highest point when you started will be your lowest point.

Knowing the various portion size for you meals will benefit you to better prepare meals and improve your relationship with food.
The guide included here will help you to discover the correct size of portions that you should be adding. These are useful rules of thumb, this will save you having to use measuring devices. If unsure about the right size then you can still go ahead and use the devices.
You can track you nutrition by using a site like to ensure you are keeping to your required nutrients.
By developing the purpose of the food we put into our bodies, we understand the various benefits of these foods. If you are not including enough of certain foods this can lead to malnourishment, on the opposite side to much can have a negative effect. Learning to keep the balance will help maintain a healthy body.
Always remember though that if you overindulge then that is ok, just as long as you don’t keep doing it , then every now and then is perfectly fine.
