First Angus Seniors League match against Monifieth at the Hopey ends in disappointing 5-2 defeat.
After a great start to our first League match of the new season, bathed in glorious sunshine, but wrapped in a chilling breeze, our excellent early play, in all three rinks, came to an abrupt halt as we stumbled in the last few ends.
Thankfully, John Hogg’s rink managed to hold on and gave us a well earned two points.
Lesson learned, we have to maintain our good play for fifteen ends… good effort for first match, but not the result we hoped for. We travel to Friockheim next week with optimism for a better outcome.
