MonLife Outdoor Adventure MonLife Duke of Edinburgh and Gilwern Outdoor Education centre Gilwern Outdoor Education Centre is open for bookings by school groups from all over the UK.

Our facilities can also be hired by other groups such as the Scouts, Guides, sports clubs, youth organisations, families and corporate groups. The site is near some of the best hillwalking, climbing, caving and canoeing outdoor environments you could wish to find in the UK. The River Wye, the Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons are all on the doorstep. Established in 1970, thousands of children

from schools all over the UK have enjoyed outdoor activity courses, field trips and adventures at our centres. Our sites have educational facilities and camping fields that are regularly used by groups like the Scouts, Guides and Duke of Edinburgh's Award expedition teams. Gilwern has accommodation available for large groups and a hall with indoor bouldering wall and a large outdoor climbing tower. There is flat access to accommodation, a wheel chair accessible abseil ramp and braille orienteering course.
