Calling all Balsam Bashers! 📣

Come along tomorrow (Saturday 18th June) to help the Rangers at Forfar Loch tackle Himalayan Balsam, an invasive non-native species that is threatening to take over the woodlands around the loch 🌳

The Rangers will be on the lochside path directly down from the Orchardbank entrance to the loch near the Guide Dogs centre (South side).

Look out for the green Ranger flag to help find us! 🟩

We will be there from 10am to 3pm, so stop by for as much time as you can spare volunteer, to help us stop the spread!

The BEACTIVE Kirriemuir group were absolutely delighted to welcome some pupils from Northmuir Primary School, accompanied by their teacher Mrs Kennedy, on their Health Walk this week. Superb to see both adults and youngsters alike chatting and having fun and the pupils were an absolute credit to the school.

The BEACTIVE Health Walk is open to all adults, meeting every Tuesday at 10am at Websters Sports Centre for a short 30-45 minute walk (with options for shortening) followed by a cuppy and a chat. Why not pop along and join us?

Paddle Start Club is designed for young adventurers aged 8–11 who want to discover the exciting world of kayaking, paddleboarding and canoeing.

Through fun games, challenges and supportive coaching, participants will build confidence on the water while developing paddlesport skills at their own pace. Delivered in line with the Paddle UK Paddle Start Award, every child will receive a certificate to celebrate their achievements.
