Lady Captain’s Day – 6th June ⛳☀️💃🎷

What a fantastic day celebrating Lady Captain, Helen Wells', special day! Despite a wet start, the weather turned around beautifully, and we enjoyed lovely sunshine as the day progressed.

⛳️ How would you like to win a year's membership at Mold Golf Club for just £5? Our Prize Draw is open to existing adult members as well as non-members. Tickets are available from the Club Bar or Pro Shop with the draw to take place in the clubhouse at the end of play on Finals Day Sunday 13th September 2026. As we celebrate Volunteers' Week, everyone at Mold Golf Club would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all our volunteers who give their time, skills, and support to help make our club such a special place.

From committee members and competition helpers to those who assist at events, support our junior section, look after our clubhouse, help maintain club traditions, and lend a hand whenever needed, your dedication is invaluable.

Mold Golf Club is more than just a golf course – it's a welcoming community built on the commitment and enthusiasm of its members. Our volunteers play a huge part in creating the friendly atmosphere, successful events, and enjoyable experiences that make the club what it is today.

🎉 Celebrating the Captains' Charity Day 🎉

On Saturday 30th May, over 150 players came together for a fantastic day of golf, fun and fundraising, raising more than £3,000 for Pancreatic Cancer UK.

Our Captain, Colin Wood, and Lady Captain, Helen Wells, hosted a memorable event packed with challenges and entertainment, including Longest Drive Nearest the Line, Greenkeeper’s Hazards, Nearest the Pin, and a lively Party Hole with music blasting throughout the day.

🎶 The celebrations continued into the evening with a fantastic presentation event. A special thank you to member Tim Bowyer and his friend Shelly, whose band Rowleys Drive provided superb entertainment with a great selection of cover songs, helping to round off a wonderful day in style.

A huge thank you goes to all our tee sponsors for their generous support, contributions and the fabulous prizes they donated.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who played, volunteered, gave bingo prizes, sponsored and supported the day. Your enthusiasm and generosity helped make the event a roaring success while raising vital funds for Pancreatic Cancer UK.
