Massive weekend for Mold ABC 👊
Since re-establishing the club and opening the doors on 17th July 2023, we’ve worked hard to build something special—and this weekend showed exactly where we’re at.
We took 5 boxers to the championships and came away with:
🥇 Senior Gold
🥈 Senior Silver
🥉 Youth Bronze
🥈 Junior Silver
🥉 Junior Bronze
A big statement was made in the senior elite division, where two of our youngest—just 18 and 19—stepped up and both reached the finals against experienced opposition.
One came away with gold. The other lost on a split decision, with a point deduction proving the difference. A tough one—but that’s boxing.
Since reopening, we’ve now produced:
🏅 8 Welsh Golds (including a British Champion)
🥈 9 Welsh Silvers
🥉 9 Welsh Bronzes
As a coach, I always say—hard work, discipline and a bucket load of fun is what we’re about. It’s paying off, not just in medals but in the people we’re building.
