We were very honoured to be asked by the Welsh Crown Green Bowling Association to host the finals of the prestigious
Gwyn Morris Senior Merit Final today, Sunday 28th Jun 2026
The event was entered by 32 players resulting in a total of 31 games being played and a fine display of bowls was watched by more than 200 people throughout the long day. The final was eventually played between Chris Charlton and Leighton Roberts with Chris becoming the champion.
Many thanks to all that attended and participated and we hope you all enjoyed the day.
A special thanks must go to the hosting team from the Argoed club who worked tirelessly throughout the day keeping our visitors fed and watered and kept the event running smoothly by fetching, carrying, cleaning etc.
