“Who’s going to come out here to train?”
I’ll never forget those words.
That was the reaction from some of our mates when we told them we were going to start personal training out of half of my granda’s shed.
What started with one client in May 2011 on a Wednesday afternoon quickly snowballed into 60 hour weeks of personal training.
After 7 years of full on PT, I decided to take the leap into group sessions. In September 2018, we took on 16 women in our very first “beginners” and “intermediate” groups.
I absolutely loved it.
The buzz of having groups in, the fast paced nature of the sessions combined with serious craic made it an absolute joy to do.
Women’s strength group training wasn’t very common at the time, and I always remembered how poor some of the classes were whenever I worked in Club Class. I wanted to build a structure that allowed women to train in a gym environment, learn how to use equipment safely, get strong and feel comfortable in our set up.
Fast forward to today and I honestly don’t think I could ever have imagined what the place would become.
The amount of people who choose to train at One2One Fitness NI is staggering. Not only do clients keep coming back, but they tell their friends and family to come too.
We deeply appreciate every single client and we’ll continue investing in commercial grade equipment, adding more sessions and doing everything we can to give people the best training experience possible.
We’ll never stop upgrading, improving and pushing people to get the best results possible, no matter what the goal is.
Thanks for the last 15 years…
Here’s to 15 more 🍻
