Yesterday Friday 12th June we hosted an American Pairs Tournament , kindly sponsored by The Famous Star Hotel playing for The Star Cup .
The beaten Semi-Finalists receiving £70 were ,
Keith Campbell & Derek Rodger (Beechgrove)
Jim &Rab Patterson (Forth).

Runners up receiving £120 were
Scott Campbell & Reilly Jack (Beechgrove)

Winners receiving £180 were
Kevin Dempster & Karen Anderson (Biggar)

Prizes were presented by Tim Leighfield of The Famous Star Hotel.
Thanks are extended to the ladies in the Kitchen who kept us fed all day , to those who took turns serving at the bar , to all those that made the home baking , those that sold the raffle tickets, those that brought in raffle prizes, the Sratch Card seller 😉, and finally Andy Armstrong who ensured everything ran smoothly throughout the day

Yesterday Saturday 30th May Beechgrove Bowling Club (Moffat) hosted a County Match for the Hamilton Trophy .
Dumfriesshire v Stewartry with Dumfriesshire running out convincing winners 140 -84 , with the Clubs very own President Scott Campbell competing for Dumfriesshire .
A very successful day for both Club and County

Last night we played host to Sanquhar Bowling Club in the Empire Trophy .
Sanquhar left deserved winners , beating us by 99 -80 , all the best to them in the next round 👍

This Saturday 30th May 2026 , sees the first County match played at Beechgrove in over 60 years , where
Dumfriesshire play Stewartry at 2pm .
So why not come along give your support.
Beechgrove Bowling Club are honoured to host this match and hopefully it won’t be another 60 years till the next one .
