Today we held our our final open American tournament of the season playing for the Bob Borthwick memorial triples trophy.
A full turnout of 24 triples from all over took park , play commenced until mid afternoon when the weather decided to get worse and after a couple players slipped it was decided to abandon play due to safety concerns,and everyone thought it was the right decision make .
Players were offered their entry money back or give it to a local charity.
It was decided afterwards that the entry money would be split between
Beattock Nursery
Moffat School Nursery
Upper Annandale FC Juniors
Each will receive £120 in due course .
It was also thought that Watty Campbell has not to operate the wee b**r trolley as he lost control, losing his load on the “very” steep bank on route to the shed 😂😂🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️😂😂

Tonight our 3rd Final of the season took place ,this time it was The South of Scotland Pairs .
In a very tight game saw Mark Walton and Scott Wallace beat David Borthwick and Iain Beattie by 12-11

Beechgrove Bowling Club Sponsors day .
What a fantastic day was had by everyone at our first ever Sponsors Day .
The sun shone all day , even if there was an odd shower 🔫 for some 😂😂.
We’d like to thank all our Sponsors for supporting the Club , without your support we would be struggling, so thank you all 👏👏.
