The club is pleased to announce that Ali Ward has been appointed as Head Coach. Under Ali's stewardship David Morris will run the mini tennis programme.

In the initial programme there'll be a mini-red and a combined mini Orange and Green programme starting w/c 9th September.

Priority is given on Wednesday afternoons and Saturday mornings for any Junior coaching, tournaments or matches that may have been arranged.

The 2019 Minety Open Mixed Tennis Tournament was played in beautiful weather on private courts around the village and the neighbouring area, with the finals at Minety Tennis Club. The Tournament, voted as Wiltshire’s best for the last two years, raised just under £2,500 for the Nelson Trust, a local charity that helps to change the lives of people who have suffered from addiction and trauma.

The winners of the Championship and the Ruth Jenner Cup were Sass Joyce and Ben Langley with Alexa Mills and Ethan Gunton as runners-up. The D&J Sports Plate winners were Claire Morgan and Neil Askins and the runners-up were Rachel Snowball and George Brooks.

Planning is underway for the 2020 Competition and we would love to welcome you to our Club on Saturday 11th July for a great day of tennis. Minety Tennis Club is pleased to welcome Rob Negus as Head Coach. Rob will be leading a programme of tennis coaching initially focused on:
- kids mini red, orange and red groups and
- a preseason session of Team Player Doubles

As the season progresses Rob will expand the programme with kids holiday camps and sessions for adult rusty racquets, cardio tennis and much more.

Formal coaching sessions are organised by Rob Negus.  His philosophy for caoching is to develop potential through creating an environment of improvement and self centered performance, allowing students to steadily adopt new habits and routines in a safe environment with support from coaches.

We are now live with the Tennis for Kids programme at Minety Tennis Club and taking bookings.

The 2018 Coaching Programme has been published and courses can now be booked under the Coaching page. We are also running a Family cup event for a child and parent/guardian. We also have an Open Day scheduled. Both of these can be booked on the Events page.

We are offering a reward that leads to the arrest of the vandals that broke the floodlights at our courts. So far they have broken five which will cost us £3k to replace. They have also broken three floodlights on the rugby pitch. When we catch the culprits we will prosecute and expect to recover our costs.

The club is very pleased to say that its Open Mixed Tournament won Competition of the Year at the 2017 Wiltshire LTA County Awards.

By way of an update, we are also very pleased to say that St James Place Foundation recently doubled the monies raised and as a result the event made just over £9,500.
