For anyone new who has landed on my page, I thought I would introduce myself.

I’m Heather Pring, from Heather Pring Health and Fitness. I’m a Vitality Coach passionate about helping women feel stronger, more confident, and more in control of their health and fitness.

My coaching supports both ends of the spectrum. Some women come to me needing help to simply get moving again and rebuild confidence. Others are working on structured strength goals such as deadlifts, back squats, and bench press progressions.

Everything is coached safely and progressively, with a strong focus on technique and accessory work to support each main lift and long term progress.

I have worked in the fitness industry for many years and continue to learn and develop my skills so I can give women the best support possible.

I am especially passionate about helping women through all stages of life, including perimenopause, where strength training becomes a key tool for health and wellbeing.

As a 51 year old woman myself, I understand how confusing it can feel when your body changes or motivation drops. My job is to make the process clearer and more achievable.

Buggy Fitness this Friday at 9.30am

We’ll be meeting outside Blenheim Gardens Cafe where we’ll set up our equipment and use the bigger space, creating a safer area for toddlers who don’t want to stay in the pram or pushchair anymore.

Do you have one of those mornings where everything feels overwhelming? Or are you starting to isolate yourself and stay indoors due to social anxiety after having a baby?

Come along and be part of the group. There’s no pressure to exercise, it’s completely up to you how you feel and what you’d like to do.

Sometimes the hardest part is just getting out of the house, so come and give it a try.

Good morning! Hope everyone has had a lovely weekend.

Just a gentle reminder that Sunrise Pilates is back on Minehead Seafront this Wednesday, 17th June at 6:00am.

All abilities are welcome. Whether you are new to Pilates or a regular, come and join us for a wonderful start to the day.

Moving first thing in the morning is a great way to wake up your body, boost your energy, improve mobility, and create a positive mindset for the day ahead.

Bring a friend, enjoy the fresh sea air, and start your day the right way.

Easing back in with a lovely little buggy fitness session.

Today we’re getting outside, getting moving and enjoying some fresh air together.

From Friday 19th June at 9:30am we’ll be changing our meeting point to outside Blenheim Gardeners Cafe.

Buggy Fitness is a FREE community session for mums, dads, grandparents and carers. Bring your little ones along (babies, toddlers and pre school children welcome).

This isn’t about being the fittest or pushing yourself. It’s about getting outside, moving your body and having a bit of time for you too.

You know those mornings where you wake up and everything feels like it’s going wrong? Sometimes the best thing you can do is get up, get out and get moving.

From next week we’ll be bringing equipment along, and being based in the park means toddlers have more space to run around and explore.
We’ll finish with some snacks and a chat in the garden.

Come along, have a little move, meet some lovely people and enjoy being outside.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone for your kindness, support and messages over the last week.

Many of you will have seen my recent updates and will know it's been a difficult and emotional time for my family. I made the decision to take this week away from work so I could focus on supporting my loved ones and taking a little time to look after myself too.

As a single mum, I truly believe in the importance of putting our wellbeing and families first when we need to. I knew that stepping back for a short while was the right thing to do, both for my family and for my clients, who deserve my full attention, energy and care.

Your understanding and support have meant so much. Many of my clients have become friends over the years, which makes your kindness even more appreciated.

Thank you again for your patience, loyalty and continued support. It really does mean the world to me.

I'm looking forward to seeing you all again next week.

What a busy month May was !!

I am very excited to have started working with many new women and new clients on programmes tailored to a variety of needs. We always begin with a general assessment, looking at how the body moves, and establishing clear goals. From there, we have planned safe progressive plans that empower women to lift weights with confidence

It has been lovely meeting those joining our early morning Sunrise Pilates sessions, and mums attending Buggy Fitness.

I would like to gently remind you that this week is our third Sunrise Pilates session this week on Minehead Beachfront, starting at 6am opposite the arcades. It is a fantastic way to begin your fitness journey and start the day feeling energised. If you are struggling with motivation, getting up and moving first thing in the morning is something I always find helps me take a positive step into the day.

I would also like to remind you that, as we head into the summer months and hopefully enjoy some good weather, we are continuing to build our Buggy Fitness community. We meet at 9.30am outside the Beach Hotel.

Buggy Fitness is open to everyone. Whether you are local or visiting the town, you are very welcome to come along and join us. People come in and out of the sessions all the time, and it is always lovely to meet new faces. We finish each session together with a coffee or tea and a general chat, offering support and encouragement to one another.

This week, I am planning to introduce a few new exercises to keep things fresh, challenging and enjoyable.

I look forward to seeing many of you there. 😊

Sunrise Pilates

As we head into a new week, Wednesday is our second Sunrise Pilates meet up and the weather looks like it’s going to be absolutely lovely for it. Around 17 degrees, fresh sea air and a calm start to the day on Minehead Beach.

Most of us are getting up for work anyway, so it makes sense to start the day a little earlier and do something that actually feels good for you.

Getting outside first thing and moving your body gently has a way of waking you up properly. It can help lift your mood and set a better outlook for the day ahead. I’m not just saying this either, there’s actually research behind how morning light and movement can support mood and energy levels.

No pressure and no rushing around, just 40 minutes of gentle movement outside with a really welcoming group.

Julie came to me wanting to feel stronger, more confident, and more capable in her body.

As a women’s vitality coach, helping women build strength, resilience, and confidence at every stage of life is exactly why I do what I do.

Today was Julie’s first introduction to deadlifting, and this first attempt is a really solid start.

From this, we identified what we need to improve to make the movement stronger, safer, and more effective.

Throughout the session, we worked on.

Neck position, to help keep the spine in a stronger and safer position throughout the lift.

Upper back tension, to create more stability and control.

Bracing, to help generate strength while protecting the lower back.

Strength training for women is so important, especially approaching perimenopause and menopause.

Women can lose significant muscle mass as they age if they are not actively maintaining it. Building strength supports bone health, metabolism, mobility, confidence, and long term quality of life.

This is just the beginning, and I’m excited to see where this journey takes her.
