Sometimes it's important to press pause. 🌊☀️

We're enjoying a few days by the coast as a family before our final PowerPlay Summer Camp next week, recharging the batteries and making some memories of our own.

It's funny though… we keep finding ourselves talking about camp! 😄 From planning new games to wondering which sports the children will choose this time, we're already getting excited to welcome everyone back.

Thank you to everyone who has supported PowerPlay this summer. Seeing children leave each day smiling, making new friends and growing in confidence is exactly why we started these camps.

Research analysing almost 200 studies has found that children who take part in organised sport are more likely to develop confidence, resilience, positive friendships and strong social skills.

🏸💥 What a way to finish the week! 💥🏸

Today was packed with a badminton tournament, bench ball and of course, plenty of dodgeball! In fact, everyone was having so much fun that the children voted to play even more dodgeball instead of free time! 😄

With the sunshine making an appearance, we rounded off the day with well-earned *
ice pops to help everyone cool down. 🍦☀️

Team PowerPlay are now taking a well-earned week off, but we'll be back for our final four days of Summer Camp from 10th–13th August and we can't wait to see so many familiar faces who have already booked.

🏐 Another brilliant day at PowerPlay! 🎉

Today's highlights included a volleyball tournament, badminton, penalty shoot-outs, free play and a few energetic rounds of our ever-popular Doctor Dodgeball to get everyone moving! 💪⚽🏸

You know it's been a good day when the children are still asking, ‘Can we play one more game?’😊

Today's camp was full of friendly competition, teamwork and plenty of smiles. We had a tennis tournament, dodgeball, benchball, Sharks & Lifeguards and Across the Golden River, with lots of badminton and volleyball during free time too. 🏸🎾🏐

There was some fantastic sportsmanship on show today, children encouraging each other, celebrating great play and making sure everyone felt part of the team. We even managed to squeeze in an ice pop break to cool down before finishing the day! ☀️🍦

There's still time to join us this summer if you're looking for an active, friendly holiday camp where children can make friends, build confidence and have lots of fun.

Early morning challenge accepted! 🏸💪

Before the rest of the children arrived this morning, Coach James and one of our badminton superstars decided to see how many consecutive shots they could rally...

They smashed 100+ shots before they both forgot to keep counting! 😂👏

It's moments like these that we love most - children building confidence, challenging themselves and having fun, all without even realising they're developing their skills.

Today we've played cricket 🏏, basketball 🏀, volleyball 🏐, football ⚽, dodgeball 💥and some of our favourite games including Across the Golden River and Sharks🦈!

The smiles say it all! 😄

We think it's about more than just playing sport.

As qualified teachers, we know how to develop children. Every activity is planned to build confidence, improve skills and ensure every child feels successful – whether they're a confident footballer or trying a new sport for the first time.

🏆 Smaller groups mean every child gets more coaching, encouragement and support.

🌟 What makes PowerPlay different? 🌟

Most holiday camps focus on keeping children busy. We focus on helping them grow.

As qualified teachers, we know how to develop confidence, resilience, teamwork and sporting skills. We don't just organise games, we understand how children learn, how to encourage those who lack confidence and how to help every child take their next step, whatever their ability.

Because we keep our camps smaller, we get to know every child as an individual. That means more adult time, more encouragement and support that's tailored to them, not just the group.

Children also have a real say in the sports and activities they take part in, making every day fun, engaging and something they genuinely look forward to.

❤️ The thing we're most proud of? The atmosphere. Our campers are kind, supportive and welcoming, making it easy for new children to settle in and make friends.

Did you know? The vast majority of children who book just one day come back for more. We think that's the biggest compliment we could receive.

🚨 Still looking for something to keep the kids busy next week?🚨

⭐ PowerPlay Multi-Sport Camp still has spaces available! ⭐

If your child loves sport – or even says "I don't like that sport!" – this is the perfect place for them.

This week we've seen children discover a love for football, tennis, badminton, volleyball, athletics, rugby, dodgeball, bench ball and kick rounders. Watching them go from "I don't want to play" to "Can we do that again?" has been brilliant!

It's not just about sport either. Children make new friends, grow in confidence, stay active and, most importantly, have an amazing time in a welcoming environment where everyone is encouraged to have a go.
