I love it when a client texts me to tell me their amazing success news from the weekend!
Alice Lane is a competitive swimmer and trains remotely with me via our online app.
She also becomes a rival every now and then when she moves up to my age group- (getting worried now lol! )
Smashing a 50m freestyle lifetime PB and winning against the 16/17 years old just shows what you can achieve with the right training plan and diet! 💪🏊♀️

I have been training with Carla since August 2020. This was a post lockdown decision and I was also in the market for a new PT. The reason I went to Carla is because we are both swimmers - that is how we know each other - so I knew I would get a programme to improve my gym performance and it would also be compatible with my swim training regime.
Initially, the plan was to just regain fitness in the gym after not being able to work out quite so effectively during home work outs. As this improved, we changed my programme to progress the weights alongside improving my protein intake in my diet.
Fast forward to now, my weight has remained stable but I have increasingly clear muscle definition (even the beginnings of some creditable abs) and my results in the pool are awesome. At 34 years old, I have set lifetime PBs in the 6 events I have raced in, sometimes even lowering them more than once within the space of a month.
Patience is a virtue sometimes and trusting the process that Carla has got me on has been invaluable. Regain and maintain fitness, rely on your own body through a good diet and consistent approach to training, and even though I was worried about the impact of only having remote PT sessions, they are clearly doing the business. Harmony of pool and gym training has been achieved with a big, massive tick in the box.
I am excited to see how much further we can progress this.
