Gentle Wednesdays - 7.30-9.30pm (fortnightly) - suitable for those who have recently learnt bridge, but are a bit hesitant. These are very relaxed and friendly
Thursdays - 7pm- 10pm (weekly) - suitable for those who know how to play bridge. Fridays - 3pm - 5.30pm (weekly) - suitable for those who know how to play bridge. These are also friendly and welcome new players. Sometimes player prefer this
session as it is 2 and half hours rather than 3 hours. In January 2012, I set the club up to provide my students (I do lessons too) with a nice, friendly and relaxed atmosphere to play this fantastic game. Since then, the club has grown dramatically and I now welcome a vast array of levels; from beginners, right through to people that have been playing for years. The growth is a testament to the friendly approach we all have. All players fully respect and encourage my ethos that Bridge is a game to be enjoyed and as many people as possible should be welcomed and encouraged to play. Whilst I encourage a friendly, fun and relaxed atmosphere, I have a plethora of Bridge accolades to my name; you will be in expert hands! I was taught Bridge by my Dad when I was 12 years old and have been playing ever since. I was fortunate to get the opportunity to enter junior trials when I was 16 and managed to be selected for the British Junior Squad and the English Under 20s team. In 1995 it was a privilege to be asked to partner Sandra Landy in the Beijing World Championships. At the time I was the youngest player to represent their country at non-junior level for any Nation. The highlight of my international experience was being a member of the British Ladies Team which won the European Championships in Malta in 1999. More recently my priorities have changed as I am married with 3 young daughters. However, I have started teaching bridge and love it!
