Great to have a ZR Team visitor from Colchester this morning. 🥋

On our quieter than normal Saturday morning open mat session, with most of the team at the Milton Keynes UMAC comp, Dom was good enough to put his gi on and join Martin and I for a few rounds.

🥋 KIDS JIU-JITSU AT ZR TEAM MK 🥋

We’ve built our kids programme around more than just learning Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

We want our kids to become confident, disciplined and comfortable challenging themselves — while enjoying being on the mats.

They’ll learn proper Jiu-Jitsu, train in a safe environment and be surrounded by experienced coaches and a strong team.

Our new academy gives them plenty of room to learn and train, with three large mat areas and classes running Tuesday to Friday.

Whether your child has never stepped on a mat before or already trains, they’re welcome at ZR Team MK.

Come down, meet us and see the gym for yourself.

MEET OUR HEAD COACH — BRADMAN CUFFY 🥋

There’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes that people don’t see.

Bradman had a vision for ZR Team MK and has worked relentlessly to turn that vision into what you see today.

The new academy is a huge step forward, but he’ll be the first to tell you there’s still plenty more to do.

And he’s nowhere near finished.

The ideas keep flowing, the plans keep getting bigger and the goal is always to keep improving what we can offer everyone who walks through our doors.

But none of it happens alone.

Bradman has some very good people beside him — teammates and friends who believe in the same vision, push things forward and give their time to help make it happen.

And for that, he’s incredibly grateful.

We’ve come a long way. There’s a long way still to go.

But that was always the plan.

🥋 OUR KIDS. OUR FUTURE. 🥋

Still can’t quite believe how many kids we had on the mats for our first grading in the new gym.

Seeing them all lined up together was a bit of a moment for us. We knew the kids’ team was growing, but seeing them all there under one roof really brought it home.

Then watching them get their stripes and seeing their faces when their names were called — that was probably the best part of the day.

The gym was loud, the mat was busy and the kids absolutely loved it.

A proper proud moment for ZR Team MK. 🥋

🥋 A BIG WEEK FOR ZR TEAM UK 🥋

Last week Alain Pozo hosted our seminar and first grading in our new home at ZR Team MK.

A big day for the team and an even bigger one for those who stepped up to their new belts.

🤎 Gary — Brown Belt
💜 Mo — Purple Belt
💙 HS — Blue Belt

These belts represent years of work on the mats. Hard rounds, tough sessions, setbacks, consistency and simply turning up and putting the work in.

Nothing given. Every belt earned.

And a massive well done to Will, earning his Yellow Belt 💛 — a great achievement for one of our younger team members.

Congratulations as well to everyone who earned their stripes. Another marker of the work being put in week after week.

This was our first grading in our new home, which made the day even more significant. The gym is growing faster than we ever imagined, the mats are getting busier and the standard keeps getting pushed.

And to Alain Pozo — thank you. For hosting the seminar and grading, for the knowledge, the time and everything you continue to do for us. We’ll be forever grateful.

Congratulations lads — thoroughly deserved! 👏🥋

Last week Alain Pozo hosted our seminar and first grading in our new home at ZR Team MK.

What a fantastic day on the mats at ZR Team MK!

A huge thank you to Malachy Friedman for coming to Milton Keynes and sharing his knowledge and experience with us today. An incredible seminar with so much for everyone to take away.

To all our ZR Team MK members, thank you for continuing to support the club and everything we’re building. It genuinely means so much to us.

And a very special thank you to the wider BJJ community who travelled from Wirral, Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire, Chelmsford and further afield to join us. Your support has not gone unnoticed, and we truly appreciate every single person who made the journey to share our mats today.

A special shout out and thank you to Ishfaq Ali, who helped behind the scenes with the travel arrangements and making sure everything came together. Your support is hugely appreciated. 🙏🏽
