A massive thank you to Simon and his team from KUDOS Showers for taking time to volunteer to spend a day cleaning up our River Bela. Thank you for your time and effort in helping our river thrive. Itโ€™s really appreciated.

Kudos wrote : Today, a team of volunteers from across Kudos gave their time to help with stream restoration. The team of volunteers helped removed rubbish and litter from the river and helped with Himalayan balsam removal. Introduced to Britain as an ornamental garden plant Himalayan balsam, is now considered a problematic w**d, particularly along watercourses. RONAL is proud of the areas it operates in and communities it helps supports, helping protect important resources locally for the future such as the Bela.

Kudos is very proud of its heritage and, with local environmental issues and sustainability being a key focus for both Kudos and the wider RONAL Bathrooms group, is keen to support initiatives that help to improve and maintain the part of the country that Kudos is fortunate enough to call 'home'. Good sign on the river today with lots of birds working the water. A stiff upstream breeze isnโ€™t helping things but the fish are on the feed.

A few images sent in by Gerard Winnard thank you for sharing these. Apologies for the late post. The river looking superb in the golden light. Itโ€™s certainly been a dry summer with water levels fluctuating making timing everything. Last few days of the trout season now. Tight lines all.
