Some fine Bela Trout were picked up by Gerard the other day. Things have certainly improved with the recent lift of the river and these fish are a welcome sight. Nice fish Gerard.

One of our members Shaun Stansfield picked up this beautiful Bela Brown Trout this weekend taken on a IOBO. He estimated this fish to be a good 4lb. Shaun upped his tackle with a 6lb point after spotting the fish and hoping to land it and control the fish amongst the w**d. His tactic paid off and the rewards were great. Cracking fish Shaun. Glad to see anglers taking advantage of the recent lift in the river. Hope to see more reports and pictures over the coming days and weeks. Tight lines all.

Thanks to everyone who attended the work part in early May. It’s really appreciated. Here are a couple of photos taken on the day. Our next work party will be on Sunday 15th June meeting at Hang Bridge at 10am. The aim of the work party will be concentration on Balsam control. Gloves, small scythes and waders would be good.
