Our black belt Olivia, who has recently headed off to university, has spent the last three weeks in South Africa coaching sport. She recently sent us some videos of herself teaching Taekwondo techniques to local children, and it really put a smile on our faces.

Not only is it amazing to see the reach of Enso Taekwondo extending across the world, but it’s even more rewarding to see Olivia sharing what she has learned and passing it on to others simply for the enjoyment of it.

Taekwondo is more than kicking. It creates connections and brings people together regardless of where they come from. Seeing those values being shared on the other side of the world is something we’re incredibly proud of.

GRADING DAY! 🥋🔥

Well… it turned out to be the hottest, sunniest day of the year so far — so naturally we spent it indoors pushing through our KUP grading! 😆

And honestly… it was absolutely worth it.

From our white belts taking their first steps, right through to our black tabs raising the bar, the standard from start to finish was incredible. The focus, effort, and determination on display made us proud from beginning to end.

A huge well done to everyone who graded — you earned it! 👊👏

We were incredibly proud to present the Enso Indomitable Spirit Award to Archie at our end-of-year grading.

This is not an annual award; it is only given when we believe a student has demonstrated truly exceptional standards across all aspects of Taekwondo. It recognises not just growth in skill, but a student who embodies the tenets of Taekwondo; showing outstanding attitude, respect, and the determination to tackle challenges with a positive, indomitable spirit.

It’s that time of year, and what better way to wrap it up than with a festive board breaking session! No music needed for this one, just enjoy the sounds of boards snapping in 2 (sometimes 3 or 4) 😆

ᴇɴꜱᴏ ʟᴇɢᴇɴᴅ ꜱᴀʏꜱ ɢᴏᴏᴅʙʏᴇ

It’s a sad day at Enso as our much loved student and Instructor Olivia says goodbye, as she leaves us to start her university life!

Olivia started at Enso when she was only 8 years old and has created many fun memories along the way, becoming a full blown 3rd Dan Black Belt and valuable member of the Enso team.

She will be missed but we know she will be back, because once you’re in - you are ENSO FOR LIFE!!! 😆

Thanks to everyone who ran, sweated, and supported our Fun Run. The money raised has gone to great use, levelling up our training space with new black & red mats (Enso Colours)! 🖤❤️ The floor might be new, but the spirit is the same. 💪

Huge congratulations to Enso student Chris Brown and his instructor Andy Syverson! 🥋🎉

Over the weekend, Chris was promoted to 1st Dan Black Belt — an incredible milestone and well-deserved achievement in itself.

This moment is not only a testament to Chris’s dedication and hard work, but also a proud milestone for Andy, as Chris becomes the first student from our Kendal Club to earn a black belt under his guidance.

Well done to both — an inspiration to our entire Enso community! 👏🔥
