Saturday wasn't just another busy day... as far as we know, it was the busiest day in Mapes of Millport's 80-year history.
The queues were long, the workshop was flat out, the phones never stopped ringing, and our hire fleet barely stood still. But what made Deborah and I proud wasn't how busy we were—it was how our team responded.
Every single member of the team stepped up.
They looked after our customers with professionalism, patience and a smile, they supported one another throughout the day, and they never stopped working until the last customer had been looked after.
Was it challenging? Absolutely.
Did we get through it? We certainly did.
Seeing reviews like Brian's tells us we achieved exactly what we set out to do—making sure every customer still received the level of service we'd expect ourselves.
A huge thank you to William, Edward, Adam, Olachan, David, Liam, Charlie and Finnan. You should all be incredibly proud of what you achieved.
