Milford on Sea Tennis and Squash Club is celebrating Wimbledon fortnight by opening its doors to new players with a series of free tennis activities aimed at encouraging more people to get involved in the sport 🎾

We had a great day out at Queens watching tennis and enjoying the atmosphere; ladies singles & doubles both on the menu; sparkling wine & Pimms, too.
Rain followed by sunshine all day long but we were well prepared for it all! Some impressive tennis - feeling inspired 🫶🏻🎾

🎾 JUNIORS 🎾

Milford Tennis 16U boys and girls grade 5 tournament was held on May 31.

7 boys played in the morning and 6 girls in the afternoon.
It was a double success for the Robinsons from Milford on Sea with Joseph winning in the morning and his sister Jasmine winning in the afternoon.

Massive congratulations to Milford on Sea Tennis and Squash Club junior member William who has been in scintillating form on the tennis courts. William, who trains in London, has won 3 events recently with victories in:

- Grade 3 Georgians Open at Georgians and Holly Park Tennis Club 12 and under boys singles winner 🥇
- Grade 4 TennisUk Fast 4 event at Sutton Tennis Centre 14 and under boys singles winner 🥇
- Grade 4 Game 4 Padel Tennis event at Hove Beach Park 16 and under boys singles winner 🥇

New Squash & Racketball leagues are now posted on the notice board. Players have until Sunday 19th July to complete their matches before the Club championships start.

Great day on court with our 8-12 year old camp. Was extremely hot for the 17 players who attended but we had a good day of tennis working on movement, technique, shot selection and Matchplay. We also had 10 players to our 5-8 year old Mini Tennis Red camp yesterday which was great to see. The idea behind our tennis holiday offering is to keep players within a level of tennis right for them in order to maximise learning and make it more fun.

Tennis Club Championships Entries 2026

Entries are now OPEN for this years Annual Club Championships sponsored by Innovus for 2026.
This competition will be running from Monday 8th June to Saturday 19th September.

There will be competitions in the following categories:

Mens/Ladies Open Singles
Mens/Ladies/Mixed Open Doubles
Mens 60 and Over Singles
Mens/Ladies/ Mixed 60 and Over Doubles

Please note each player can enter a maximum of 3 events and an event will need a minimum of 4 entries to proceed. Plate draws will be in place for events with over 6 entries. *All competitors must be available to play the finals day on the 19th September and no finals will be allowed to be postponed to an alternative date for any circumstance other than weather.*

Entries will close on Sunday 31st May and the draw will be done soon after.

The presentation of the trophies will be at the conclusion of the finals day with food and drinks available. More information for this will be communicated separately.
