David Richard Personal Trainer & Fitness Coach Together, we’ll transform your fitness and mindset. As the son of a fitness/yoga instructor and doctor, I’ve always been drawn to health and fitness.

As a BSc Sports Coaching graduate and Level 3 PT, I help professionals and fitness enthusiasts in Midlothian and Edinburgh take charge of their well-being through tailored one-to-one coaching programmes. I’m passionate about helping people reach their fitness goals, whether that’s losing fat, gaining muscle, building confidence and having fun by learning new skills, or developing competitive athle

tic performance. I have a bachelor's degree with distinction in Sports Coaching from Edinburgh Napier University and a sporting background in basketball and martial arts (Karate, MMA, Muay Thai). Now, I work with people of all ages and ability levels, from beginners to experienced gym-goers and athletes, to help them get the most out of their training, learn new skills, and build lasting positive habits. My goal is to make fitness enjoyable and accessible, while helping you grow stronger both physically and mentally. Whether you're looking to get in better shape or develop competitive athletic performance, I can help. I offer 1:1 and small group personal training in functional full-body weight training, flexibility, mobility, plyometrics, and HIIT. I also offer Muay Thai/Boxing pad sessions and coach Muay Thai for teens and adults. Currently, I’m based at The Gym Group Edinburgh Straiton, but I also travel throughout Midlothian for sessions. With a solid foundation and strong academic background in Sports Coaching and Personal Training and over a decade of experience in weightlifting, martial arts and competitive sports, I bring a proven, results-driven approach to personal training.
