Hi,

I am currently undertaking a research project on allotment gardening and looking for participants.

I am interested in gardener’s reasons and motivations for keeping an allotment, looking at;

· How their relationships with food and nature have been changed through their gardening

· How important gardening is to them as a leisure activity

· The overall place their allotment holds in their life

· Getting an experience of allotment gardening myself to help understand the above questions further

My research plan

My research involves me joining participants on a visit to their allotments, with a camera mounted to my head to record our conversations and activity (video isn’t going anywhere public, the project is my dissertation). I am happy to be worked quite hard if there is something you need a hand with!

I would very much appreciate anyone’s participation and will make an effort to come when you would be going anyway.
