Head coach John Barlow has been training at Middleton since 1991 and has over 17 years’ experience in grappling disciplines such as Judo, Traditional Jiu Jitsu and MMA and since 2009 has been training exclusively and extensively in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu holding a 1st degree BJJ Black Belt. Middleton Brazilian Jiu Jitsu operate under and in affiliation with 3rd degree Bjj Black Belt Gavin Boardman at Manchester Predators and 5th degree Black Belt Rodrigo Antunes.

Happy to announce our 2026 ROLLATHON is will start Friday the 25th September at 12.00 and will finish at 12.00 on Saturday the 26th September 🔥

A rule of the event is we must have two people rolling/drilling on the mats at all times.

Last year only two people completed the full 24 hours.

Whether you can handle the full 24 hours, or if you fancy a couple hours rolling, we need you!

Entry will be donation based

🎵- We will have a BJJ rave during the event
🍕- we will be ordering food
🍺- drinks available

As it is child cancer awareness month, we will be raising money for Children with Cancer UK and all profits going to them
