This afternoon we were invited down to BBC Tees Radio after one of our parents very kindly contacted them regarding our great achievement of reaching 50 years as a club!

This was a huge shock to us and pretty last minute but we are so grateful to have been recognised in this way.

We had a lovely afternoon meeting the team and getting to talk to Gary Philipson to record for his show. We were able to bring some gymnasts along, who got to speak and answer some of his questions regarding the gym. He was super impressed by Anita and her 43year long commitment as a coach at Acklam Gym Club. We are very proud of this.

Our segment will be aired tomorrow at 10:20am on BBC radio TEES!

Massive well done to our gymnasts who were so well behaved and represented us to the highest standard.

Massive well done to our 4 General Gymnasts who competed in their first ever competition today. Layla, Faith, Isla and Robyn competed in the Reginal Sport for All Competition today and they were all FABULOUS! Well done girls we are very proud of you, these were huge sections and you all really sparkled.
