Match report:

First game back of the season and there was nerves and excitement within the team to get started again on Sundays. Trip on the A19 with some light drizzle was up first for the lads. Weather didn’t stop the lads from flying out the blocks with some brilliant passing around the back and working the ball forward as one. Against the run of play Lions went ahead with a great strike from outside the box. This didn’t stop SPR from battling back with Freddie getting two well taken goals in quick succession. SPR went in at half time behind but very positive at how they’d played. Lads came out fighting with some more impressive passing play and strong tackles to match but Game was close all the way until the end when lions grab a goal late on to win 4-3 and take the win. Loads of positives to take into training and the game next week as well as improvements to work on but we go again 🔴🔵

We’re delighted to announce that South Park Rangers JFC will be supporting Teesside Hospice as our chosen charity for the 2026/27 season. 💙⚽

Teesside Hospice provides vital care and support to local people and their families living with life-limiting illnesses across Teesside.

As a club, we want to use the season ahead to raise awareness, raise funds and make a positive difference to a charity that does so much for our local community. ❤️

We’ve got some exciting fundraising plans coming throughout the season, including our monthly prize draw, with proceeds going towards Teesside Hospice.
