Yesterday I had the pleasure of attending the School Games National Summit 2026 at Telford International Centre.

The day provided valuable insight, inspiration and the opportunity to connect with other SGO's from across the country 🗣🌍

It was great to attend workshops around Improving PE for Muslim girls and Unlocking movement across the school day. Listening to Amar Latif who gave a powerful insight on how we can overcome barriers to create opportunities for all and connecting with NGB's in the exhibition hall 👏🌟

I look forward to implementing some new ideas into our 26/27 School Games offer 🤩🏑👟

Today we held our Y5/Y6 Outdoor and Adventerous Activities Festival were we welcomed over 100 students to take part in a variety of activities 🚸🌤

From orienteering to teambuilding tasks, looking at how we can work as a team effecitvely to problem solve and follow maps 🗺🌳💭

A huge thank you to our leaders from Macmillan Academy who supported today's event, you were a credit to your school and helped make today a huge success 🤩🎉

Also a big thank you to Middlesbrough Rugby Club for allowing us to use their facilities 👍👏
