Not the start the Belles wanted.

With Ava-Rose covering in goal, we started well in the first half, but Guisborough took their chances.

The girls started the second half well and kept going. It was a much better performance, getting the ball down and playing with more purpose.

The girls pulled one back with a direct corner from Emelia Irvine. ⚽️

Moo made her presence felt from half time, using her energy and pace to put the pressure on and keep us up the pitch.

Indie came close to pulling another one back with a long-range effort, only for the keeper to pull off a great save down in the bottom corner.

Well done Guisbrough

The new season is finally here! ⚽️🔥

The Belles kick off their campaign with a huge opening test as they travel to take on last season’s champions, Guisborough.

It’s sure to be a tough challenge for the girls, but one they’ll be ready for after enjoying a really positive pre-season.

With plenty of new signings joining the squad and settling in really well, there’s a real buzz around the team heading into the new campaign.

Now it’s time to put all that hard work into action and get the season off to a good start! 💪⚽️
