Brilliant day in Birmingham for these two tumblers at the Inter-Regional Tumbling National Finals 🇬🇧🏆

Grace - Regional 2 15+ - 7th Place
In her last competition before beginning her journey at university, Grace put out 3 strong runs, a brilliant way to end a long competitive journey here with us 💪🤩

Christopher - Regional 1 U13 - 1st Place 🥇
BRITISH CHAMPION 🏆
Amazing performance today from Christopher, such maturity shown to perform 3 very clean runs to secure his first British medal. What an achievement 🔥🥳

It is with heavy hearts that we remember our club founder and former head coach, John Atkinson, who passed away peacefully two weeks ago 💔

A true gymnastics great here on Teesside. John, alongside his wonderful wife, Dot, dedicated an incredible five decades to coaching gymnastics across the North East. The impact he had on so many gymnasts across his career is truly immeasurable and will never be forgotten

Outside of the gym, John was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. All of our thoughts are with his family through this time

We want to use this space to celebrate John’s remarkable life and legacy. We have so much to thank him for here at Gymworld ❤️

Congratulations to our three young gymnasts who attended The English Tumbling Championships at Telford.

Hard work and determination paid off with fabulous scores and results.

Hannah Club 5 11 to 12 years
5th overall in her first championship final.

Sam Club 5 11 to 12 years male
4th overall in his first championship final

Christopher Reg 1 under 13 years
2nd overall at his second championship final and still only 10.

All coaches where proud of the way they handled themselves throughout the day. Calm and mature for gymnasts so young.

Exciting upgrade at the gym! 🤸‍♀️

We’re thrilled to have installed our brand new tumble track. A heartfelt thank you to the volunteers who stepped up on such short notice to help remove the old track and install the new one — your time and support made this possible! ❤️

While the track didn’t quite fit the space as planned, some quick adjustments to our layout helped everything come together smoothly. We’re looking forward to seeing our gymnasts make great use of it!
